I am currently compiling a list of anticipated Art projects for the school year. Please remember, this is my first year as an Art teacher, which means in most cases, my first time creating these projects. There is no way for me to know exactly how long and/or successful these projects will be. We may or may not be able to do each of the things i have listed, with that said...we may do more!
In addition, i am planning of having 2 Art Shows this year. One in the Fall and one in the Spring, these will be on Parent Teacher Conference Night. I will do half of the school on one night, the other half on the other. I have not yet decided which classes will be showcased in Fall and which will be in the Spring. I will share that information with you as soon as i make a decision.
Since we are having an Art Show, i will be keeping some student art work. I will still be sending some home on a regular basis, but it your child creates something that i may want to use for the show, i will keep it until i make a decision on which of their pieces i want to use! I hope you understand, everything that i keep will be sent home after the show! Each student will have one piece of art work to showcase in our Art Show.
